State breaks ground on new Marlborough State Police crime lab
MARLBOROUGH — State officials broke ground on a new four-story State Police crime lab in Marlborough that's expected to open in 2028, while Marlborough Public Schools announced two new principals for the 2026-27 school year.

Marlborough Public Schools has tapped Sarah Casey and Tara Sobaleski to take over leadership at two district schools beginning in the 2026-27 academic year, according to coverage of the announcement. Building assignments and start dates for the two principals were reported as part of the district's transition planning ahead of next fall.
